Looking Back, Moving Forward

In our first show back in April, we introduced the world to the mad science/comedy experiment called Twinprov. We performed The Doppelgangsta Rap in front of an audience for the first time and told you about The Twin Wars. In June, we brought you deeper into our twisted world with a show about the vows we make and ones we wish we could forget.

Between May and July we wrote and recorded four film-themed raps in conjunction with NewsOK.com and performed them in front of thousands of people at sneak previews and midnight premieres. In June we did our first outdoor set at the OKC Pride Celebration and in July we took part in the first ever Improv Festival Oklahoma as performing with both Twinprov and festival sponsors Red Dirt Improv.

Two nights ago we debuted our third and final show of the summer at Mondays Don't Suck in which we introduced the world to Buck and Clint's parents, John and Betsy Vrazel. We've tried to challenge ourselves with each new show to experiment not only with content, but also with structure, and our approach to story telling. That experimentation apparently paid off in a big way resulting in show that was described as "intense," "disturbing," "hilarious," and our "best yet" by those in attendance. Thanks to everyone that came out to support us.

Today, Buck and Clint are on their way to Austin, TX to perform (an abbreviated) version of that same show tonight at 8pm at The Salvage Vanguard Theater as part of The 2009 Out of Bounds Comedy Festival. The boys also got invited to participate in the ComedySportz All-Star show on Saturday at 8pm also at The Salvage. For more info. click on the links in the upcoming performance box on the right. You can also look forward to Buck and Clint making regular updates to the blog about all their Austin adventures.

We've accomplished so much in just six months, just imagine where we'll be at the end of our first year. None of it would have been possible without the support of our family, friends, and fans. Special thanks to Stephanie, 796 Entertainment, Marcy, and of course Betsy and John.

The photos posted here were taken by our talented friend, Phillip Grimes. You can view the full set on our Facebook Page here. We'll try to get the video of the "Meet The Parents" show posted by this weekend for everyone that couldn't make it. In the meantime, enjoy this newly posted video of an awesome Serenade we did for audience member (and friend) Andrea Striz at our June show.
