Special thanks to Mr. Wilson and the fantastic staff at the Harkins Bricktown 16 for having us out and to the all the Twilight fans for treating us so well! (Clint here: More special thanks to Jennifer Folmar of Hollywood Glam Salon for Edward's hair and makeup - plus she created the Jacob look for Buck. Also special thanks to Nancy Holt's Entrepreneurship class and Backroom Clothing at Moore Norman Technology Center for the Edward shirt. Merri and Silvia, for lending us all the Twilight books and DVDs and posters and decorative pillow covers...., and finally Kitsune for her spot-on feminist deconstruction powers.)

Put Your Fangs In This!
Sorry about the delay on getting this edited and posted. We've been super busy working on the debut of this little side-project of ours called OKC Improv. At long last though, after 15 hours of editing and only one week late, ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present the video of the live performance of our New Moon Rap. The footage is compiled from 4 of the 5 performances we did at the Harkins Bricktown 16 midnight premiere of New Moon where we entertained 2,200 hardcore Twilight fans in one hour. Now we're happy to share that fantastic evening with all of you. Enjoy! (Clint here: We also met some awesome twins named Jessica. Both of them. They are now in our Twin Twinprov Twilight Fan Club!)

Twinprov + Paul Mitchell + Fans = A Rap, Of Course!
Twinprov loves its fans. We love what we do and the opportunity to enchant and horrify people equally. It's about sharing. We aim to please. And we are people pleasers. And lovers. And rappers. So when a couple of fans from the Twilight New Moon Rap Premiere needed some help with a school contest, we answered the call.
In this video (shot by the excellent Clint Gee), Clint and I do the improvised rap thing with Whitney Tate at the Imagine Paul Mitchell school in Norman for the "Why It's Cool to Be a Future Paul Mitchell Professional" Fan Video Contest. Kristi also starred as an extra and helped with lots of things. So we were helping her with homework. We do math and physics, too!
Check out the results of our fast and fun shoot. Thanks again, fans, and good luck with the contest. Vote on Whitney's video (feat. Twinprov) by watching and rating on YouTube!

"New Moon Rap" NewsOK Performance
We recorded this version of the rap with The Oklahoman Entertainment Writer, Brandy McDonnell at the NewsOK Studios on Wednesday. Here's your first look at our "New Moon Rap" - hardcore enough for a man, but PH-balanced for a woman!
We'll be posting a version from our Harkins performance soon!
"New Moon Rap" Post-Mortem
Tonight we debuted our "New Moon Rap" in front of 2,200 "Twilight" fans at the Harkins midnight premieres. Here's the post-performance Vlog from Buck & Clint:
Video and pictures will get posted on Friday. Thanks to all the audiences for the great response tonight and to the awesome staff at Harkins for having us out!

"New Moon" Rising
Buck & Clint preview the new Twinprov "New Moon Rap" outside the offices of The Oklahoman.
Thanks, as always, to Brandy McDonnell for having us. Hope to see some of our old fans and make some new ones tonight at the Harkins Bricktown 16 premiere of "New Moon!"
Mondays Don't Suck Post-Mortem
A few nights ago we performed the best Twinprov show yet at the final Mondays Don't Suck at The 51st Street Speakeasy. Here's the post-show VLOG from Buck & Stephanie:
Thanks again to Brad, Dan, Derek, and Spencer of 796 Entertainment for all their work on MDS and for giving Twinprov our first gig way back in April. We will never forget all that you guys have done for us and can't wait to join you all on the new Thursday comedy night at The Speakeasy.

Crayons + Twinprov = Awesome + Steak n' Shake + H20

Crayons! Improv know how to put on a good show, and they know how to treat their guests. We've rarely received such hospitality. Warm-ups that included My Husband's Tumor: the Musical, Jog in Place (Call your Mom), a historic 3-way dub (I'm Dan! I'm Sooooo Dan!), and Radio Dial had us all laughing and feeling like we'd played together for years, and that's a huge thing.
The packed two-hour family-friendly-but-fantastically-funny show at The Agora Coffeehouse included original Crayons games: a hilarious "Delilah" Radio Show spoof called "Lucinda," starring Crayons director/manager Nicole Cates. So spot on we wanted to listen in the car all the home (which included a 30 min detour because the damn dam was closed). Snap! featured Lee and Nicole on a Regis and Kelly-style morning show with the rest of the cast as commercials. Clint and I got a great gift when we were introduced as video game producing New Jersey brothers "Skirt" Jones and "Umbrella" Jones. One question, Lee: Are you wearing a wire?
Dan Wooten died several times, but we especially loved his "Rabid Cat," "Jonah's Diaper," and his duet with Clint in Sounds Like a Song: Master Chief Vs. Dora the Explorer (Say Hola to my little Amigo!) Andrew (he prefers to be called Andy), in addition to cracking us up with his video blog rant on life and death, pined for the lost love of Harriet, Brittany Teague's matronly (don't call her old!) alter-ego that had the players and audience all cracking up. Mary (with whom we have a completely platonic and totally brotherly relationship), performed with Clint as her inner thoughts in the world's best worst date. If Clint's in your head, you're screwed. I should know.
Twinprov debuted our new high-speed organic form "Twintennae," in which we take a suggestion and deconstruct it, riff on it, and sing about it at Vrazeling Out energy levels. Our final guest slot featured a terrific rap "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch," featuring Crayons as our unstoppable posse. We could have kept going all night, and we were sad when it was over.
Before we parted ways we recorded this video blog from outisde The Steak n' Shake with Lee and Andrew from Crayons!
Much love to our friends in Tulsa. We can't wait to have you guys come to OKC!
Twinprov out!

Fan Contest Winners
Yesterday we had the first of what will hopefully be semi-regular Fan Contests on Facebook. One more reason to go to http://www.facebook.com/Twinprov and become a fan right now. Seriously, we'll wait. It'll take just a few seconds. Just click on the link!
OK, everybody back? Great!
So, the winners of our contest were Ariel Allison of Oklahoma and Tepi Ennis of New York. They had the choice between an improvised Serenade or Rap and they both chose a Rap. (In Tepi's case that was probably for the best... for all involved!)
First up, is Tepi's Rap. She just wanted a general rap dedicated to her that included some of her interests. So, we took a look at her Facebook page and voilĂ ! Rap magic!

Next up is Ariel who suggested as a struggle "I can't stop eating candy!" This one has a nice groove to it.
Thanks to all those that entered and to all our fans. You're the best!
Look out for another contest when we get close to 300 Facebook fans!

Lots of exciting things are going on in the world of Twinprov right now.
Buck and Clint will be performing at the Red Dirt Improv show this Saturday night at the IAO Gallery in multiple capacities. From the Facebook event page:
Buck and Clint will be in every segment except the Free Range Improv. For more information you can check out the excellent article Mamet to Hell that ran in this week's issue of The Oklahoma Gazette.

Next up, on Friday, November 13 we'll be performing as special guests with Tulsa, OK-based Crayons! at The Agora Coffee House at 8pm.

On Monday, November 16 at 8pm we make our triumphant return to Mondays Don't Suck at The 51st Street Speakeasy. We'll be performing a revised version of our debut show from April, so if you missed that show this is your chance to see it live. For those that saw the show, come anyway! Between the new material and the improv about the half the show will be all new to you as well!
You've also no doubt noticed the awesome new site header created by friend of troupe, Phillip Grimes. There are also new links under the header to send you directly to all Twinprov-related destinations on the intarwebs. More changes to the site are on the horizon.
Buck and Clint will be performing at the Red Dirt Improv show this Saturday night at the IAO Gallery in multiple capacities. From the Facebook event page:
7 pm: This show will include classic short-form improv - witty games, scenes, and songs based on audience suggestion.
Look for the debut of Celebrity Big Brother, from creator/director James Murray. We'll end the 7pm show with our hit 30-minute improvised musical, "What's The Score?", featuring Red Dirt Musical Improviser Stephanie Bidelspach.
9 pm: This show will feature three different longforms and two debuts:
First, the debut of "The Ones Your Mother Warned You About", a two-man, two-woman longform which features Red Dirt's Buck Vrazel, Clint Vrazel, Raychel Winstead, and special guest Improviser, Cristela Carrizales (most recently starring in Ghostlight Theatre's "Fat Pig") A dueling couples' monologue opens each round of scenes.
Next, we'll see Free Range Improv, an anything-goes improv smorgasbord that lets Red Dirt flex their combined 75-years' experience. Smart, funny, off-the-rails improv that will enchant, move, and horrify you.
Finally, we'll close with the debut of "Brass Balls" - an improvised two-act play in the style of David Mamet, playwright and author of "Glengarry Glen Ross", Goodfellas, and "American Buffalo". Mamet is best known for his tough characters and a fast-paced, dizzyingly witty dialogue style that he uses to explore and skewer anything and everything.

Vrazel Boys Rock Out! Introducing Levi and Burris
Buck here. Many of you know that my twin Clint and I rap, sing, and perform together in Twinprov, Red Dirt, and in other improv projects, but did you know there are 2 more Vrazel Brothers, and that they've just released their first album on MySpace?
Check out the Other Vrazel Boys on http://www.myspace.com/leviandburris
Vampire Weekend, The Shins, The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Doors, Interpol, and the Flaming Lips are just a few influences.
I'm lovin' the Lips-inspired "Flaming LP" and the closer, "Somethin' Child." Of Mice and Sin showcases Luke's bluesy rock chops. "Denied" features Dustin Spess singing and beautiful lyrics from Luke (see me far away in another city, my life is good, I bet yours is really shitty, feeling the trash from the dumpster trucks, they dumped it on your house, I hope that fuckin' sucks!)
Luke V., 22, is the youngest, here playing drums and singing at the same time.
Jared V., 26, a decorated ex-Marine, on guitar, backup vocals, and ass-kicking management.
Brandon Turley, 26-ish, magician, actor, on the keyboards and backup vocals.
Dustin Spess, 27-ish, rockstar, guru, on guest vocals "Denied."
Keep up the good work guys!
