New Videos & Show Updates

Due to the winter storm that saw fit to lay down a layer of ice on the roads yesterday, our Red Dirt Improv farewell show has been postponed one week to Friday, February 5th.

Tomorrow night's OKC Improv show that features us in The Closers is still on for now at least.

If you're stuck inside, or are one of the unlucky souls that have never made it out to one of our live shows, do we every have a treat for you! For the first time ever all three Twinprov shows are now online.

First up is our flagship show, aka "Show Prime." Essentially a souped-up version of our April Debut, this particular performance of "Show Prime" was captured back in November, 2009 at Mondays Don't Suck.

Next is our "Promises Show" from June, 2009 also recorded at Mondays Don't Suck. Featuring sketches so screwed up and out there that even we have reservations about them!

If you don't have the time to watch an entire show, we also have new clips from our January 9, 2010 ColdTowne Theater performance in Austin, TX featuring fantastic audience member, Donovan! You can also watch that show in its entirety here.

I'm Rumbly in my Tumbly (Attack of the Stomach Bug)

Buck is sick. :( And he would like to share his illness with you all... with a picture! ...Of the bug, silly! Here's what is churning my insides like an Amish kid on cocaine:

Don't worry, though, I'll be well before the show! Or dress entirely in brown, so, you know, either works.

At least I'm losing weight. I could be on to something. Imagine a country where people are so desperate to be thin that they inject themselves with pathogens just to be beautiful- oh wait, they already do that! It's called Botox!

Happy Sickness, Everyone!

Introducing the Apple iPad...here come the jokes, er, features:

If only Apple had spent the same fortune on naming their new 'iPad' tablet as they did developing it. At least the features aren't silly:

- A larger screen for that not-so-refresh feeling

- Sleek 1.5 lb design means no one will know you've got an iPad except...nevermind, it'll be obvious

- Greater capacity for those heavy download days

- Say goodbye to aches with a lighter, more ergonomic stylus

- Natural Flow™ design cuts down on 64GB hot flash memory pause

- Cramps: There's an app for that

- Finally, a wireless pad with the soft-touch screen your body will love!

A Very Vrazel Farewell to Red Dirt Improv

Barring a second winter blizzard, this Friday at the IAO Project Space on Sheridan and Lee in OKC, Clint and Buck will play one last show with our fantastic friends in Red Dirt Improv. Our time with RDI, born out of Obviously Unrehearsed (OUI) (which still exists and plays to huge audiences at the University of Oklahoma), comprised some of the best years of our performing careers. Here's a few fond memories:

The Special Election Show and the right of zombies to enter into unholy civil unions, singing a lovesong about Oreo cookies as a soldier with blown-off legs at the first Improv Festival Oklahoma, narrowly besting Les McGehee's Cafe Caffeine ComedySportz-Austin team, writing and performing sketches for the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative (Caterpillar, caterpillar, butterfly!). Endlessly inventing games and new ways to play (4-square Reverse Musical!) Playing the Radio Station game on the way to Chicago for 5 hours. Going on News9, Oklahoma TravelNet, and the OU morning show. Training the next generation and letting them fly on their own. Turning the IAO Gallery into an improv destination in OKC. (Thanks, Jeff Stokes). The MOMENTUM Art Festival. Singing songs late into the night. Seeing the huge crowds at the Improv Festival Oklahoma. So many memories!

RED DIRT IMPROV

The Vrazel Boys are turning their attention to OKC Improv and will miss these guys terribly. But do not fear- These improv teammates are still performing together in shows like The Ones Your Mother Warned You About, The OKC Improv All-Stars!, The Closers, and Villain: The Musical. Check www.okcimprov.com for information on upcoming shows and tickets!

Austintatious

Here now for your viewing pleasure are our video blogs chronicling our adventures this last weekend in Austin, TX. Don't forget you can see us this Saturday night at 10pm at OKC Improv.

As you can see, we were suffering from some pre-show jitters prior to our ComedySportz performance.

After an amazing ComedySportz show our energy was up and our confidence back!

We recorded this the night after returning home, recapping our amazing weekend of performances and our awesome musical improv workshop at ColdTowne Theater that you can see pictures from here.

Thanks to Brent Foshee of ColdTowne Theater (left photo) and Les McGehee of ComedySportz Austin (right photo) for your help in making this amazing weekend happen. We can't wait to come back!
