TEDxOU was amazing from sunup to sundown. Every spare minute was spent engaged in learning about and from some inspirational and awesome people - right up to the moment we introduced them on stage. Made friends, blew minds, and felt terrific. In the words of a fellow attendee, "The [TEDxOU] speakers just made me want to be awesome."
We got covered in the Daily Oklahoman and the OU Daily.
The best part: all the improvisers, students, and fans in the audience! Neophillic idea junkies to the rescue! One special fan helped us warm up (P!) so we felt like we were stepping onstage at OKC Improv.
Twinprov would like to especially thank Ken Stoner for taking a chance on us, Adam Croom, Madison Blocker for greasing all the wheels, Ghislain d'Humieres for his hospitality and humor, Eric Webb for spurring this from the get go. Thanks too to all our poor friends who had to hear us rant about improv and spontaneity even more than usual - and give constructive feedback on that ranting.
The greatest thanks go to Marcy Fleming, co-founder and Director of Education at OKC Improv, and our dear friend, who was there for every moment, word, and insight of our talk, from the second she found Ken Stoner at TEDxOKC to the last minutes of the reception. We could not have done it without you. Let's write that book!
